Outdoor exhibition “Our Blue Planet – Hidden World Underwater”

Our blue planet – over 70% of its surface is covered by water. Seas, rivers and lakes, ponds, streams and oceans all harbour an immeasurable abundance of life. A wealth of shapes and colours that is unmatched on land. Bizarre deep-sea fish, as if sprung from a science fiction film, clouds of plankton reminiscent of distant galaxies, huge swarms, dwarfs and giants – a realm of superlatives. Sometimes colourful and cheerful, sometimes bizarre and mysterious, and always breathtaking!

In this extraordinary outdoor exhibition, the GDT presents 48 photographs by Europe's best underwater photographers. A best-of selection of the winning images in the underwater world category of the renowned GDT European Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition from the last 20 years.
