    GDT EWPY 2016 at the Horniman Museum & Gardens

    For the first time the exhibition GDT European Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2015 will be showcased in Great Britain. The exhibition opening takes place on Saturday, 26 November at the Horniman Museum & Gardens in Forest Hill (South London). The exhibition will be on display until 15 January 2017, admission is free. Designed in the Arts and Crafts style, the Horniman Museum & Gardens was opened in 1901. It was a present by tea merchant and philanthropist Frederick John Horniman, who aimed at bringing the world to Forest Hill. The Horniman has specialised in collections of anthropology, natural history and musical instruments. Its galleries house 350 000 objects from around the world. (Photo: Sophia Spring)
