New team at the board of management
During the annual meeting of members in April 2016 the GDT has elected a new board of management for the next three-year term of office. President of the Society is Stephan Fürnrohr, who takes over from Michael Lohmann after three years in office (and six years on the board overall). Sandra Bartocha, who has been elected the new vice-president, was on the board before between 2007 and 2013. New members of the board are Florian Nessler (second vice president), Marc Hesse (treasurer) and Radomir Jakubowski (member of the board). On this occasion the GDT would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the outgoing members of the board Michael Lohmann, Marion Vollborn, Paul Kornacker, Ariane Müller and Eberhard Giese for their years of commitment for the GDT.
